The Montana Department of Revenue’s application to apply for the 2023 Property Tax Rebate is now open! Don’t miss the October 1 deadline as applications will not be accepted after this deadline.
To apply for a rebate or check your rebate status (rebate checks will be mailed), check the Montana Department of Revenue’s website.
Make sure to have your personal and property tax information handy before applying:
- Personal Information (SSNs for you and your family as well as your mailing address)
- Geocode of your residence located on your property tax bill
- The amount you paid on your property tax bill
You can also reference the Yellowstone County Treasurer website to lookup your Geocode or tax bill amount.
There are some eligibility requirements as well as a list of ineligible residences listed with the MT DOR at getmyrebate.mt.gov
